Construction Timeline
Consecration Ceremony (29th October 2025)
Land Blessing of the new Centre land conducted by HE Drubpön Dechen Rinpoche, representative of HH 17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje. This event took place on 26th to 29th October 2025 and more information can be found at the post here.
Piling Work (21st November 2025)
Piling of the center’s foundation has been completed on the 21st of November 2025. Work on the pile cap is on the way, pending confirmation by engineers.
Foundation Work started (22nd January 2026)
Project approval by the architect and contractors have been granted. Initial work to set up foundation with ground beams and pile caps have been started on 22nd January 2025.
Backfill foundation (27th February 2026)
After ground beam have been set, soil is backfilled and crusher run is added to provide a stable foundation for the bungalow. The buried ceremonial items have been covered, but are still intact.
Ground floor slab (5th March 2026)
Cement is added inbetween the foundational ground beams to form the ground floor slab.
