Activites
The centre becomes especially vibrant during the annual visits of Lama Sangyay Tendzin. During these periods, we organise a range of Dharma activities, including teachings, meditation sessions, pujas, public talks, workshops, and occasionally Nyungnay retreats.
Outside of these visits, the centre maintains a steady rhythm of weekly puja sessions led by the Lama’s senior disciples, along with occasional Dharma sharing sessions.
Members also have the opportunity to participate online in Dharma programmes organised by the TNG Centre in France.
Looking ahead, the new centre will expand beyond being solely a Dharma centre to also serve as a wellness centre. In addition to spiritual activities, members will be able to engage in karma yoga initiatives—such as organising a soup kitchen to benefit the needy—as well as hosting community-oriented activities like yoga and dance, fostering greater connection with the local community.
Weekly pudja
Weekly puja sessions are held every Wednesday from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM. Zoom access is also available for members who wish to join remotely.
Dharma Sharing
Dharma sharing sessions are currently led by Dr Tan Chin Yong. These sessions provide an opportunity for members to deepen their understanding and reflect on their practice.
A short video here offers a glimpse into a recent Chenreziq Dharma sharing session. Mandarin translation is available upon request.
Workshops
From time to time, Lama Sangyay Tendzin invites representatives from the TNG Centre in France to conduct Dharma-related workshops. These sessions help deepen understanding of ritual practices as well as aspects of Tibetan culture.
Past workshops have included torma making, Tibetan calligraphy, tibetan musical instruments and chanting.

Ngungnay Retreat
Nyungnay is a traditional fasting retreat involving abstinence from food and speech. It is conducted upon request and with the guidance of Lama Sangyay Tendzin. This practice is traditionally believed to swiftly purify obstacles for Dharma practitioners.
Previous retreats have been held in Meru Valley (hosted by Dr Tan Chin Yong and Madam Lim Pui San), at Happy 8 Homestay (hosted by Tan Kai Lek and Jessica Jang) and Cameron Highlands (hosted by Dato’ Lee Hau Hian and Datin Li Li)
External Dharma Program Participation
Members also occasionally participate in programmes organised by other Dharma centres and associations. These include empowerment ceremonies, Monlam prayer gatherings, and opportunities to receive teachings from distinguished Rinpoches of the lineage visiting Malaysia.

Public Talks
Over the years, we have organised public talks by Lama Sangyay Tendzin at Tung Lien Temple and Tin Alley, Ipoh, attended by 50 to 100 participants. Some attendees have since taken refuge and continue their Dharma practice at our centre.
