Fundraising Dinner 2025
On 26 October 2025, we organised a fundraising dinner at Chan Yuan Vegetarian Restaurant in Ipoh. The auspicious evening was graced by Venerable Drubpön Dechen Rinpoche and Venerable Lama Sangyay Tendzin.
Friends, sangha members, and representatives from various Vajrayana Buddhist associations came together in support, making it a meaningful evening of connection and generosity in aid of our new centre in Taman Golf.
The event was fully organised by our committee, reflecting the collective effort and dedication of our community. We were delighted to have our sangha member Yuki as the emcee, together with her team, who presented two beautifully choreographed dance performances.
The programme began with an opening address by our Chairman, followed by the main speech by Venerable Drubpön Dechen Rinpoche. Dr. Tan Chin Yong presented an overview of the new centre project, and our treasurer, Madam Ooi Meng Wang, shared the list of donors and the total funds raised. Lama Sangyay Tendzin also offered a brief address during the evening.
With close to 200 attendees, the event was a great success. We are especially grateful to our sangha members, Peter Ng and Joan Teoh, for their generous sponsorship of the dinner.
